Terms & Conditions

This Agreement is a binding contract between you, the participant, and the trustee for D & B Attard Family Trust, operating as Puppy Yoga Melbourne. By purchasing a ticket to attend any class or event hosted by Puppy Yoga Melbourne, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Class Details

  • Class Structure: Each class consists of 40 minutes of beginner-friendly yoga, followed by 20 minutes of cuddle and interaction time with the puppies. During this time, participants can enjoy a warm cup of home-brewed tea.
  • Age Requirement: All participants must be 5 years of age or older to attend the class.
  • Phone Policy: We encourage you to keep your phones away during Puppy Yoga sessions to ensure an uninterrupted experience. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos after the session.
  • Puppy availability: Please note that the availability of specific puppy breeds for scheduled classes may change at any given time to accommodate the availability of puppies.

2. Ticket Purchases & Cancellations

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following cancellation policy:

  • No Refunds: Due to high demand, tickets are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your ticket to a future date, provided you notify us at least 24 hours before your booked session.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled session will result in the forfeiture of your ticket.
  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to attend your scheduled class without prior notice, your ticket will be forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

3. Health & Safety Guidelines

By attending the class, you agree to the following health and safety terms:

  • Health Disclosure: You must inform the instructor of any health conditions, injuries or mental health concerns before the class begins.
  • Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, you must inform the instructor prior to the start of the class.
  • Medical Consultation: If you have significant health issues or are pregnant, you must consult with your physician before participating in the yoga class.
  • Following Instructions: You agree to listen attentively and follow the instructor’s guidance during the class. If you do not understand any instructions, you must request clarification from the instructor.
  • Discomfort & Injury: If you experience any discomfort or pain during the class, you should cease the activity immediately and notify the instructor.
  • Resting: You may take breaks and rest during the class at any time.

4. Health and Safety Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Airborne Illnesses: Puppy Yoga Melbourne is a public space and airborne viruses may be present. You agree not to hold Puppy Yoga Melbourne liable for any illness contracted during your visit.
  • Allergic Reactions: You accept that Puppy Yoga Melbourne is not liable for any allergic reactions.
  • Medical Advice: Puppy Yoga Melbourne and its instructors do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for medical conditions. You agree to consult with a healthcare professional regarding any health concerns before participating.
  • Physical Limitations: If at any time you feel discomfort or strain, you should come out of the posture. You may rest as needed.

5. Personal Belongings

You are solely responsible for the security of your personal belongings. We recommend you keep any valuables with you and refrain from bringing them into the studio.

6. Photography and Media

  • Media Consent: You acknowledge that photographs and/or video footage may be taken during the class and that these images and videos are the property of Puppy Yoga Melbourne. They may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:
    • Brochures
    • Advertising
    • Website content
    • Studio recordings
    • Annual reviews and reports
    • Other publications
  • By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness in such media and waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product.

7. Liability Waiver

By purchasing a ticket and attending Puppy Yoga Melbourne:

  • You release, waive, discharge, and agree not to hold Puppy Yoga Melbourne, its agents, employees, or affiliated facilitators liable for any injury, illness, theft, or damage that may occur during your participation in the class.
  • If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accompany you to the class and agree to these terms on your behalf.

If any portion of this waiver is found to be invalid by a court, the remainder of the terms and conditions shall remain in effect.

8. Agreement Modification

Puppy Yoga Melbourne reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and by continuing to attend classes or use our services, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms & Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these Terms & Conditions periodically for any updates or changes.

By purchasing a ticket and attending a class with Puppy Yoga Melbourne, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
